Design 1 - Starts with composing using a set of black geometric shapes on a white ground. Each is composed to a particular organizing principle such as symmetry, asymmetry, radial, etc. including one organizzed to visually communicate the ideas of a written statement. Line, shape, grids, linear and oblique perspective are explored in various exercises. (not documented.) The final project explores ways of stylizing one specific object, such as a flower or piece of fruit. Conventionalized, Organic Hyper-Stylized, Geometric, and De-constructed Abstraction.
